You will find us at the heart of Ryfylke
Lysefjord Hyttegrend has a beautiful location with panorama views of the Lysefjord and only a short distance from attractions such as Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock, and the Kjerag boulder. The cabins feature traditional Norwegian architecture, and have been praised by numerous satisfied visitors.

Close by most attractions and facilities
The jetty is only a few minutes from the cabin. Keen fishermen can hire a boat with engine. Or you can set off inland on a beautiful nature trail over the meadows to a delightful lake, only a fifteen minute walk from the farm, where you can go swimming. If you prefer to climb, the nature trail takes you up to the top of Sokkanuten. The reception desk has maps of the area and suggested itineraries. It is only a five-minute drive to the food shop.

We are also close to the towns of Sandnes, Forus and Stavanger. You can take the Tau ferry and drive along highway R13 via Jørpeland, or take the ferry between Lauvvik and Oanes. Either way, the journey is not long.

A charming area no matter what the season
The spring here is particularly beautiful, with clear, fresh air and the light-green shoots peeking out of the ground. New-born lambs frolic just outside the reception area and our rabbits like to be stroked. In the summer and autumn, the area has abundant supplies of edible mushrooms and berries for picking, and is home to a rich bird life and fauna all year round.
